Better tools
for Canvas.
Made by educators.

A small Norwegian studio building focused LTI tools for Canvas LMS — grounded in course context, respectful of data, unambitious about feature lists.

Building since 2024

Three tools. Each one does a single thing for teachers.

We don't build suites or platforms. Every tool has a scope we can hold in our head, so teachers and administrators can hold theirs too.

Canvas Designer interface showing a structured course page with cards and callouts

Design Canvas pages that look like you spent time on them.

Canvas's built-in page editor stops at the basics. Canvas Designer is a drop-in visual toolkit that lets teachers build structured, readable, accessible course pages — cards, callouts, progress indicators, richer typography — without touching HTML.

Free to use. Runs in your browser. No account needed.

Course Certificates configuration interface showing completion rules and certificate templates

Completion certificates your institution can verify, years later.

Course Certificates issues signed PDFs automatically the moment a student meets the criteria their instructor sets — a finished module, a discussion post, a quiz score. Each certificate carries an HMAC signature and a public verification URL, so an employer five years from now can confirm it's real without contacting the university.

For institutions running Canvas. Installed per course, configured by instructors, no administrative burden on central IT.

Quiz Generator showing nine question type cards including multiple choice, matching, and ordering

Quiz questions, drafted from the course material teachers already have.

Quiz Generator reads the pages, readings, and modules a teacher selects — and drafts quiz questions grounded in that specific material. Teachers review, edit, discard, then save the approved questions straight into Canvas as a quiz. No file imports, no copy-pasting, no generic textbook questions.

AI does the drafting; teachers do the judging. The tool is designed around that division of labour, not around the AI.

Principles that shape what we build, and what we don't.

P.01

One tool, one job.

We don't bundle features into suites. Every tool we ship has a scope small enough that a teacher can describe it to a colleague in one sentence — and a boundary we refuse to cross.

P.02

European hosting, European ethics.

Our infrastructure runs in Finland (Hetzner, Helsinki). Data stays in the EU by default. GDPR is how we work, not a compliance checkbox we shuffle through at release time.

P.03

Canvas does its job. We do ours.

Canvas's grading, gradebook, and enrolment flows are mature and well- supported. We build authoring and reporting tools that sit alongside Canvas — we don't try to replace, wrap, or "improve" it.

P.04

AI is a tool, not a feature.

Where AI genuinely helps teachers — drafting questions from source material, for instance — we use it. Where it doesn't, we don't. "AI-powered" is never by itself a reason to buy something from us.

Norwegian and English both fine.
